About me

Hi, I’m Kaila (pronounced like Kayla). I’m a certified birth and postpartum doula serving Utah County. I became a doula to help more people look back on labor and delivery with satisfaction and transition into parenthood with confidence . As a trained birth doula, I help each client create a birth story that will inspire her throughout her life. Every birth is unique, and I am here to support, to educate, and to celebrate with you as you welcome a new life into your world, however you decide to do it. This is your experience, and I want you to feel confident in the driver's seat. As a certified postpartum doula, I watch over the physical and emotional recovery of a mother after birth. I also help families to navigate life with a newborn baby. Postpartum is hard, but you don’t have to figure it out alone. I’m here to help! I can’t wait to meet you and your family!

Service introduction

Kayla Mackenzie – Birth Mentor & Doula Serving Utah County and surrounding areas I work with women who want more from birth—whether you’re healing from a previous traumatic experience or preparing for your next birth as a deeply personal rite of passage. As a birth mentor and certified doula, I support you through the entire childbearing journey with honesty, reverence, and a fierce respect for your intuition. My approach blends trauma-informed care with values-based planning so you can feel safe, seen, and in control. My services include: • Birth Doula Support: Continuous, grounded support during labor and birth. I help you stay connected to your body and your choices—at home, in a hospital, or at a birth center. • Birth After Trauma: Whether your last birth left you feeling unseen, unsafe, or overwhelmed, I provide space to process, rebuild trust, and prepare for a new experience on your terms. • Values-Based Birth Planning: Together, we design a plan that reflects your values, boundaries, and goals—so you’re not just “going with the flow,” you’re leading the way. • Preconception Mentorship: Thoughtful support for couples who want to prepare emotionally and relationally before trying to conceive. I believe birth changes you—and it should. Let’s make space for that transformation in a way that honors your whole self: body, mind, and spirit

Kaila was my doula for my second baby. I had a traumatic experience with my first baby, so I really wanted someone to help me cope with my second. Kaila was exactly what I needed! She is knowledgeable, personable, and really listened to my needs. She respected all of my decisions and did everything she could to help me have the birth that I always desired. I would highly recommend Kaila to any woman looking for an incredible doula!
