Birth & Postpartum Doula
Los Angeles, California
About me

While studying at UCLA, I fell in love with maternal and fetal health. My background in human biology laid the foundation for my knowledge of perinatal health and the social and environment factors that can impact one's birth experience. My additional background in art and architecture also informs my practice, inspiring the kinds of embodied experiences I want to guide clients through. My approach as a doula is rooted in science, continuous learning, and education. I believe that understanding your body and your clinical and non-clincal options can reduce fear, build confidence, and support true self-advocacy in any setting. I will never tell you how you should birth, but I will support you in discovering what feels right for you. My hope is that you feel wholey and completely yourself during this incredible moment! I trained at Bini Birth in Sherman Oaks in Spring 2025 and am currently working toward certification through DONA International. I serve as a Member-at-Large on the Board of the Doulas Association of Southern California (DASC), and I volunteer as a birth doula with Joy in Birthing Foundation and Harvest Home in Los Angeles.

Service introduction

I offer comprehensive birth support, with a focus on prenatal education and preparation. Preparation typically includes basic childbirth and postpartum education, learning and practicing comfort measures for labor, creating your personalized “birth plan,” and giving you a space to ask any questions or process any emotions you may have around your upcoming birth. During your labor, I offer in-person care, and am available on-call from 37 weeks through delivery. Within the week after you give birth, we will meet to check in and discuss your physical healing, any emotions you may have, or questions about caring for your newborn.
