About me

I have been an Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant since 2015. Prior to becoming an IBCLC, I was a Certified Lactation Counselor since 2006. My passion for breastfeeding truly came when I breast fed my first child, born in 2007. I have three children and eleven years of personal breastfeeding experience. I joined Rush Copley Medical Center as a Lactation Counselor in 2013 and held this position until transitioning to an IBCLC in 2015, further adding to my expertise in NICU, Pediatrics, and outpatient complex cases. I have helped thousands of parents reach their goals over the last decade. I am an active USLCA member and have had advanced training in TOTs (tethered oral tissues), as well as completion of the holistic course, the IBCLC Masters Class. I am sub-contracted with North Shore Lactation since March 2022.
