About me

Hello! My name is Janet. I am passionate about birth work and have over 15 years experience serving families as a Certified Doula and Certified Childbirth Educator. I offer customized, private Birth Classes in your home or online. All classes include a postpartum follow up. I work with Doula clients on a limited basis and have experience attending births at home, hospitals and birth centers. I will assist you in creating a birth plan if you desire one. Together we will discuss what your plans are for your birth, whether it is unmedicated, epidural, induction or cesarean. You will have support from an experienced Doula to make sure your questions are answered and you have the tools you need to create the birth experience you desire. I facilitate an online VBAC (vaginal birth after cesarean) Support Group which helps those who are planning a VBAC or want to learn how to avoid a primary cesarean. I’m looking forward to meeting you and assisting you on your pregnancy journey!

Service introduction

As a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator I teach evidence based Birth Preparation Classes following the 6 Healthy Birth Practices of Lamaze. I facilitate an online VBAC Support and Information Group for those who want to achieve a successful VBAC.

4 virtual or in person classes, 2 hours each Fee can be split into 2 payments. Once registered for Classes you can reach out with questions by phone/text/email during pregnancy, labor and postpartum. Package includes a postpartum follow up within 3 weeks after delivery.
