I would like to do a home birth. Inexpensive budget. My birth plan would be to let labor and birth progress naturally without interference of any kind at all necessary.
I’m considering a hospital birth trying to keep it as affordable as possible with TRICARE if that’s accepted I don’t have a full birth plan yet, but I want unmedicated
Hello, I am looking for a labor support Doula for the birth of my first child in Late June/early July. I have not yet decided whether I will have a home birth, or of give birth at Naval Medical Center. I am planning to have a natural, unmediated birth and know I will need physical and emotional support through it.
I plan on giving birth in a hospital non-medicated. I will not be giving birth on my back.
I plan to give birth at a hospital and want to try and have natural birth with no meds this is my second baby looking for a doula that takes tricare
Want to give birth in Morehead city, would love if my doula would be covered by Tricare. Want to give natural birth
Plan to give birth at Onslow Memorial Hospital. Prefer a doula that accepts Tricare Prime. The only 100% decided part of my birth plan is no epidural, calm, relaxed environment, dim lighting, minimal intervention, minimal cervical checks, no medications unless medically necessary. Provided must be certified, must accept Tricare insurance, must have at least 3 years of experience. Would prefer to also have lactation assistance.
Baby born 37 + 3. Difficulty latching and minimal sucking seen/felt, quick to exhaust during feeding, no milk supply yet, difficulty hand expressing and pumping colostrum so far, concerns of baby not getting enough to eat and getting milk supply.
I am 33 weeks pregnant with my first baby girl and plan to deliver in the hospital. I am looking for a supportive, experienced doula who is comfortable working with a medically complex pregnancy. I have POTS, vasovagal syncope, iron deficiency anemia, and have experienced frequent dizziness, near-fainting episodes, tachycardia, and palpitations during pregnancy. I have been evaluated by cardiology and have a normal echocardiogram and no significant heart condition, but I still experience symptoms and anxiety related to labor and delivery. My goal is to remain flexible with my birth plan and do what is safest for both me and my baby. I would like to attempt a vaginal delivery if possible, but I am open to a C-section if medically necessary or if labor becomes difficult to tolerate. I am nervous about procedures such as IV placement, epidurals, and surgery and would appreciate emotional support, advocacy, comfort measures, and guidance throughout labor and delivery. I am looking for a calm, reassuring doula who has experience supporting clients with anxiety, POTS, vasovagal syncope, or other medical concerns. My due date is August 4, 2026. I am open to discussing pricing options and packages. I have Tricare.
*NEEDS TO ACCEPT TRICARE PRIME* Planning to give birth at Carteret hospital. Not sure on birth plan yet, first baby. Willing to add additional services postpartum for laundry folding support.
I plan to give birth in a hospital setting as this is my second pregnancy and my first birth had complications. I want to do an unmedicated birth and am looking for a Doula who can really support me through those contractions. While my husband will be with us, I want to ensure he is included 100% in the whole process. To me, birth is an experience for both partners and so I want to make sure he is included. I essentially want a third partner that can help guide him and teach him what I will need. I also would like a Doula that can teach me tips and tricks to help me with breast feeding. I could not produce with my first child due to stress levels and i am hoping I can breast feed this baby. I am knew to Doulas so budget I am unsure of and i want to see what my options are so I can discuss with my partner if a doula is 100% what we want. I am very aware that i am the one giving birth and not my partner but he and i make all decisions together. He is extremely supportive of my decisions but I always choose to discuss big options with him. My doula will have to be able to handle a stubborn woman who is sweet but when in pain sounds mean. I can be bossy so I need a doula with a backbone that is willing to put me back in the right mindset. I am a free spirit and need someone that can match my energy and is not scared to be my voice as sometimes I do forget to use it, especially in medical facilities. I do not know what a doula costs so I do not know how to budget for a doula and so I am hoping to see what is out there and go from there. I only speak English and since this is not my first rodeo with a baby, I do not need anything above assisting me through labor and the breastfeeding. Thank you soooo much!
I have Tricare Select insurance and plan to give birth in a hospital setting. At the moment, I’m unsure of my estimated out-of-pocket budget because I’m still learning what is covered under my insurance plan. I also do not have a finalized birth plan yet and would appreciate guidance and education throughout the pregnancy and birth process to help me make informed decisions. I’m looking for someone supportive, knowledgeable, and experienced with helping first-time or still-planning parents navigate labor, delivery, postpartum care, and birth preferences.
Novant hospital, looking for someone Medicaid covers, plan on natural birth

First pregnancy at 33 years old. I wanted to give birth at home but my family is against it so I will be birthing in hospital but want to be as natural and have as few interventions as possible. I live in Blounts Creek, NC but will be birthing in Greenville, NC. I am pregnant with healthy, baby boy who is measuring 2 weeks ahead already. No abnormalities have been identified. I am looking for experienced doula to help me prepare for labor and postpartum period and advocate for me during both. I plan to breastfeed. I am unsure of budget because I don't know how doulas bill but I also have private insurance, soon (pregnancy) medicaid and ability to pay out of pocket as well.
