It is important to me that the provider is knowledgeable, responsive, and supportive of my birth preferences while also prioritizing safety for both myself and my baby. My ideal birth plan includes minimal medical intervention unless necessary, with a focus on comfort, informed decision-making, and emotional support. Good morning, I am looking for a midwife to do a home birth. We do not have a budget at this time, but are wanting to use our insurance which is Cigna. I will need some guidance with my birth plan but as of now I know I want to do a home, unmediated birth.

So I am looking for a midwife CNM that takes Molina healthcare Texas Star. If not I would like to hear if there are any packages or anything. I am already gonna probably have to pay for a birth center so I am really looking for someone who takes my healthcare. I had horrible experience with OBGYNS and I do not want one. I was given zero alternatives when I asked for them, I am now taking my own glucose measurements so I can see how my sugar ranges daily from what I eat. I am looking for someone who will take me seriously and understand what I am wanting to do with my own bodily autonomy.
