Hello! I am writing to inquire about hiring a postpartum doula and would like to outline the specific requirements for this role. My brother and sister in law have a 2 day old newborn and are in need of support at home. In addition to standard postpartum support, the doula will be expected to assist with light housekeeping. For the safety of our family, I require that candidates have up-to-date vaccinations for Tdap, flu, and RSV. Furthermore, all applicants must provide proof of current child abuse clearances as well as background checks at both the state and FBI levels. Please let me know if you have anyone available who meets these qualifications or if you need any further information from my end. Thank you, Melissa Rowe

first time parents, and my partner does not get any time off. We are looking for someone experienced with sleep training, lactation consultant, etc. Basically that can help us learn the ropes. No need for any second languages (we only speak english). Certificates are not required, so long as they have a few years of experience under their belt. Really we're looking for someone who's patient, and a good communicator. Ample experience is helpful, but not a critical requirement. Our budget has some flexibility, and we have flexibility on day or night support- my partner is a fireman, so his schedule varries (he typically works 24 hour shifts). We will be looking to hire someone part time a nanny, as our newborn grows, just to throw that out there. Nutritional guidance is helpful, but no need for cooking, cleaning or laundry- we have that covered.
Looking for a night nanny to help with our new born. We are open to a night nanny, night nurse, or newborn specialist. The only language we require is English. We have two other young children, but the care is needed for the newborn. My wife is pumping breast milk and we are feeding a combination of expressed breast milk and formula. We need help caring for the newborn overnight and possibly help with cleaning breast pump parts. Our newborn does not have and medical conditions or other special care requirements. I am uncertain about our budget, but hourly rate would be approximately $30-50, for 8-10 hour shifts, 4-5 days a week, for 6-12 weeks.
