Fatimah’s approach to her work is nurturing, deeply personal, and truly inspiring. Her calm and grounded presence was exactly what I needed during such a vulnerable and tender time. Although my birth didn’t go as planned..it was fast and intense. Fatimah responded right away when I asked her to come. She showed up with quiet strength, supported me through the whirlwind, and even stayed to care for my 4 year old when I had to be rushed to the hospital for treatment. That act alone meant the world to us, especially since we don’t have family nearby. As my husband brought our baby to visit me, she stayed behind with him, offering stability in the chaos. Fatimah checked on me every single day until my final postpartum visit. She made sure I was okay mentally, physically, and emotionally. She gently reminded me to care for myself too, not just as a mom, but as a whole woman. Her guidance helped me set small goals, listen to my body, and show up for myself as I transitioned into this next chapter of motherhood. I’m so thankful for her care, her wisdom, and her presence. If you’re considering working with Fatimah, I can say wholeheartedly you’ll be in the most loving and capable hands.

She left the hospital for personal errands and wanted updates when she should've been by my side for the most scariest time of my life. I almost died that day. I paid $1400 for nothing. The nurses and my partner was all the support I had. I get we all have personal lives but if you know you have a client in labour you should be more prepared. Even the nurses were shocked she was gone for hours all day no where to be seen. Everyone was asking where's your doula? I shouldn't have to text or call her giving updates while Im screaming in pain. I hope she treat other mothers much better in the future and not just come up with excuses and switch up when she available out of convenience.

Fathima was truly heaven sent and such a gem. Working with her was more than my pleasure it was an absolute dream! Having decided to work with a doula so close to my due date she was still so accommodating and we made a great team. Her passion, knowledge, professionalism, reassuring sprit, and positive outlook just begin to highlight her amazing personality. From all things birth prep along with my detailed birth plan, she made preparing for labor and delivery a breeze, which in turn made me feel very confident. She provided the necessary birthing tools along with a reassuring attitude that created a relaxing and comfortable birthing environment. Although my hospital birth did not go as planned and the labor process was disheartening, it was her unwavering advocacy with the hospital staff that I was able to have the vaginal birth that I desired. Although labor unexpectedly lasted longer than we could have intended, she was there every step of the way as well as postpartum to ensure my son and I were doing well. Not to mention her handmade massage oil and bath salts, which are all natural, were an added bonus and another talent of hers. If I could I would chose her again and again without question and I’m so grateful that our paths crossed. Fathima is more than a doula she is like family and it warms my heart to know that she is forever apart of my son’s birth story. Any family would be extremely fortunate to experience such an amazing human being as their doula!
