i am looking for a compassionate experienced doula. i’m planning to have a natural water birth and want someone who can help me with the labor process.
I am giving birth at Royal Oak Beaumont Hospital. I have TriCare Select insurance and supposedly they are doing a trial run where they cover the cost of a Doula in 2026. My husband has to verify this. My parents are willing to pay for a doula if insurance does not cover it. We do not have an estimated budget. I have not made much of a birth plan but do plan to get an epidural if needed. I would like to avoid a c-section, especially since I hear they often do them unnecessarily. I am 33 and aside from hyperthyroidism I do not have any major medical concerns. My husband and mom will also be present at the birth. I am also looking into maybe a postpartum doula to come a few times, but I am not certain on this. Side note: If I had a postpartum doula come to my house I live in Sterling Hts.
I need to know if I'm able to have a home birth . I really want despite me having C-sections I want to have natural birth I need support and encouragement 💘 my budget is hopefully 1000
Hospital but possibly at home? 850-1000 Delayed cord clamping Unmedicated Safe delivery Safe and calm environment Supportive Second pregnancy My first delivery was not only extremely difficult but the hospital and team was neglectful along with being abusive. My husband and I left the hospital with serious trauma and ptsd. I feel I have lost faith in our medical system. I’m looking for a support team to assist and provide safety and care
I want to have a hospital water birth. Unsure of budget and no current birth plan
