I am hoping to receive a doula as I am newly pregnant, I am looking for support for prenatal, during birth and possibly after.I plan to give birth in a hospital setting, and I have husky I dont know if that is covered.

Hospital birth, I want to try for a natural birth but am open to whatever keeps baby safe.

i am looking for a doula, i am giving birth at Yale New Haven Hospital. I am already 27 weeks pregnant. My budget is $2,000 max. I am looking to have an overall natural birth, and to labor mostly in my home. I am open to having an epidural, but would love to prepare to not have one.

I plan to give birth in a hospital. My budget for a doula is 2k. My birth plan would be to labor at home for a while and then drive to Manchester memorial hospital to give birth because I believe they are the most vba2c supportive in Connecticut with the midwives affiliated there.

Plan to give birth at a hospital (L&M hospital in New London), tricare select covers doulas so hopefully I can find a doula that’s covered by our health insurance. My first was a very long induced labor, about 56 hours and I pushed for 3 hours. Ended up having a c section and would love to try a vbac this time around.

I need help & support in achieving my second VBAC at hospital that’s covered by Medicaid since paying out of pocket for a support person is out of my price range but I’ve always wanted someone who knows so much to be there with me. I’m not really sure how to give birth when I’ve had a c-section (no laboring, breech baby) with my first & my second was induction with an epidural. I want to feel empowered but I have a hard time voicing that even though I’m so sociable. I don’t want an epidural or Pitocin & I want to have a vaginal birth. I’m open to other forms of pain relief but I want to stray from an epidural entirely.

Just found out my wife is pregnant she is either 3 weeks or 7 weeks. First ultrasound is scheduled for June 1st. We are Catholic and are interested in learning about natural birthing practices. Want to learn about doulas midwives and how to have either a home birth or a natural hospital birth. Want to learn about how I can advocate for my wife so we don’t get vaccinations and unnecessary procedures. We live in CT and plan to contact with Hartford hospital for our care. Hi there! My name is Corie and I'm 13 weeks pregnant with my first child. I plan to give birth at a hospital. Estimated budget is $2000-2500 at most, but I would love to be able to stay under that amount. I'm still making decisions about my birth plan and would love recommendations from my doula about that. I would love a doula that is DONA certified and has reported attending at least 40 births. I also would like a doula with a variety of birth experiences (e.g., medicated and unmedicated, emergency c-sections. etc). It would be a bonus if my doula participates in a doula community or mentorship. I am a 30 (31 at time of birth) year old married woman. At this time, my pregnancy is low risk and I don't have any special needs.

We are in the beginning phases and looking to see if a doula will be a good fit for our growing family. This is my first pregnancy. Looking for a doula with a medical background to help ‘ translate’ and provide explanations of the process, to make the experience more understandable. Looking for guidance on how to choose a OB/ hospital to give birth. In addition, providing guidance on a birth ‘plan’ that will be health for me and the baby. We are going to give birth in a hospital. We would like at least 5-7 years experience. Preferably a doula that can provide pre birth and postpartum support. Mental health check ins, nursing strategies, sleep training etc. the more medical/scientific a background the better to help bridge real life to medical knowledge.

I am having twins. Will deliver is hospital ok with epidural want a vaginal birth of possible. Do not want episotomy unless medically necessary. I do not know what to expect finance wise for a doula I would like someone to help me with labor and delivery and guide me in the days/ weeks leading up to it. I would like assistance on prepping for lactation and maybe help postpartum with that as well as any other assistance.
