At home birth, someone to come over and walk me threw it. Maybe a birthing center but would rather do at home if I am a low risk... someone covered by medicaid or can work with a payment plan.
Looking to give birth at Prentice Women's Hospital in the city. I'd like to go a mostly natural birthing route, but would like the hospital environment for the "just in case" piece of birth. I am a first time mom and my husband and I want someone who we can get to know well, and who will spend time with us answering all of our questions. We have vaccine questions, we want to do delayed cord clamping, we would like a vaginal birth (unless dangerous for me or baby), we would like skin to skin immediately, we would like to try to not be induced if that's possible. I'm not needing a fully unmedicated birth but want to go as long as possible without any epidural or any intervention of that sort.
I need help navigating a twin pregnancy and help with stress and pain and anxiety.
1. My goal is to have a home birth 2. While I hope insurance covers it, I could pay up to 3000 for the birth 3. I want an all natural birth, no induction, and possibly a water birth as I see is helps with pain.
Looking for a midwive to assist in a home water birth. Preferably accepts blue cross blue shield insurance. Laboring in the comfort of my own home with little intervention.

Looking for prenatal midwife care and midwife birth in a hospital setting. Aiming for a natural birth. Looking for practices that accept insurance.
Hello, We are looking for a professional and compassionate midwife to come to our home and assist in active labor. Our birth plan is currently receiving prenatal care from Northwestern Family Medicine, but they do not offer midwives, nor at home births; so we need to hire a midwife for the actual labor at home. We are budgeting $2,000-$3,500) for the actual midwife to help with the birthing process only (due July 17, 2026). Please and thank you :)
I’m 6 weeks pregnant due on November 4, 2026. This is my first time pregnancy and I plan on delivering at home.
