My husband and I had the pleasure of working with Bri and Randi during our pregnancy and the birth of our daughter in January 2026. I hadn’t originally been set on having doula support, but it was strongly encouraged by the midwives at our birth center, so we started researching. I’m so, so thankful that The Nurturing Company was one of the business cards I picked up. From the moment I visited their website, reached out, and began communicating with them, the decision was made. The warmth and love that came across just from their website and our virtual interactions pale in comparison to the support and care we received in person. We chose the Birth Support and Photography package and couldn’t be happier with what we received. Having both Randi and Bri at our prenatal visits felt like an even greater advantage—we had two brains to pick, two perspectives to hear, and two experienced mothers to look to as we prepared for this huge change in our lives. The group chat where I could ask them any questions that came to mind during pregnancy and postpartum felt like a group chat with my very own big sisters. Randi hiked out in the snow and took the most ethereal winter maternity photos for us. Bri was on call when I went into labor, and she truly went above and beyond for us. She was with us from our home to the birth center and back again when labor stalled. She even rode in the ambulance with me after our daughter’s birth when we had to be transferred to the hospital for an emergency D&C to remove my placenta. Her constant support was incredibly reassuring. My husband and I truly don’t know how we would have done it without her. The Birth Story Photo reveal at 6 weeks with snacks and hugs was the most healing and wonderful “ending” to this specific experience. And we’re so thankful that they are now a part of our village and community moving forward. Bri and Randi at The Nurturing Company are the beautiful, gilded picture frame around our birth experience. My spouse and I recently welcomed a baby girl via surrogate into our family. Bri and Randi served as our doulas throughout the pregnancy. We knew immediately upon meeting them that we wanted to work with them: not only were they kind and knowledgeable, but working with them gave us the added benefit of having two individual's expertise as well as their talents as photographers. Surrogate pregnancies are complex: Bri and Randi helped create a birth plan that met both our needs as the intended parents as well as the needs of our surrogate and her partner. They provided ongoing support at a deep level throughout the pregnancy and into postpartum. We also had maternity and birth photos done as part of our packaged purchased and I'm so glad that we did. Not only are all of the photos beautiful, but they are also pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime. Before working with a doula, I thought their role was to provide support during labor and delivery; now I know that they do so much more. They helped everyone feel comfortable and confident in our plan to bring home a healthy baby, provided support to an anxious intended mom dealing with lots of pregnancy-loss related grief, and more. Bri and Randi have become lifelong friends and both are women and mothers who I aspire to emulate. We can't thank you enough for everything you did to make bringing home our baby a smooth transition.

Before finding out that I was pregnant, I knew I wanted doula services for my first birth. As a woman of color, I know how important it is and I wanted a doula who believed the same. I came across Bri’s instagram and saved it for later. Fast forward, I found out I was pregnant in 2024 and reached out to her. Before meeting her I noticed that she is prompt,organized and professional. After our first phone call, she gave me the assurance I needed to continue this process and explained next steps to me clearly. When my husband and I met her in person, we walked away so confident (which was weird because we are first time parents and had no idea what to expect). I was petrified of giving birth, but Bri was so encouraging. She helped me realize that I can have the birth story I wanted if I believe that I could (and I did ❤️🥹). She poured into me on more than one occasion. I could tell she’s so passionate about what she does and the families she works with. She was so supportive to me and my husband. She showed us that she was there and truly cared about our birthing experience and postpartum journey. I’ve already recommend her to friends and family!! I truly had the best birth for me because of her! I also enjoyed my postpartum sessions with her too! I looked forward to them every week! Randi is a wonderful photographer! Although my baby is *much* older than most babies she captures (mine is almost 18 years old), she was absolutely the right choice for our senior pictures. She had a quick and easy rapport with my daughter and chose a great location for our shoot. She was creative and totally captured the essence of my daughter. As long as Randi is willing to take photos of my kids, we will work with her - we couldn't be happier with the way our session turned out. A real pro...thanks Randi!

We hired Randi for both photography and doula services. She made us feel comfortable right from the beginning. We had fun during photography sessions and felt supported during birth (even when birth didn’t go as planned) and she continued to check in on us during postpartum recovery, which was so appreciated. And all the pictures turned out beautiful!

I had Randi photograph both my kids' Senior Portrait sessions - and they were amazing! My son loves cars, and Randi was willing to wander thru a car show downtown to capture his wonder and awe (and I think she had a pretty good time, too!) My daughter is a nature lover, so we took Randi on an adventure through our favorite wetlands park for a stunning autumn theme. Both kids were at ease, natural, and had a great time. The photos reflect their personalities and wonderful smiles. I plan on hiring her to photograph our next family photo - but I will wait patiently until she has her beautiful baby and has figured out what her new routines will be!

Randi is the perfect addition to any birth team. She has provided more support for my entire pregnancy than I could ever ask for, resources for any question I may have, mental and emotion support at any time of day. She is the best listening ear. I couldn't imagine not having Randi present during my labor and delivery- she was a constant source of support, a helpful hand, kept me motivated with her sweet words of encouragement, and was beyond helpful to my husband during my entire labor checking in on him and offering ways he could support me. You will not be disappointed in adding Randi to your birth team! Her photography skills are beyond amazing and have allowed me to process my birth again and again. She perfectly captured our entire birth, the room, the amazing moment between my husband and I, and the first moments with our sweet babe!

Randi is the most ideal person to have in your birth space. She is kind and respectful and adds such an element of peace. Randi is incredibly professional, she truly thinks of EVERYTHING!
