Baby seems to struggle with nipple but has a good latch I think. Also would love a quote for a night nurse as he doesn’t sleep well in the night (1.5-2 hour stretches)
My baby had a tongue tie that got fixed in the hospital and now I need help getting him to latch. He does well with the nipple shield but not my actual nipple. He needs to be putting on weight so we want to see how much he’s actually getting each time I breast feed with the nipples shield or in general.
I'm having trouble producing milk on constant bases. First month, I was producing 7 ounces in the morning and then it will mellow out. Now, barely producing 3 ounces.
1. Hospital 2. Negotiable/ Open 3. Natural births
Plan to give birth at Grandview Hospital vaginally. Would like to primarily breastfeed. I know the first few days are very important for continued milk production, so I would like to be prepared to make the most of that. I will also need help in a few months as I prepare to go back to work and will need to pump there. A support group in the North Jefferson area would also appreciated.
in need of lactation consultant. my baby is 7weeks old and we hav been combo feeding but i am hoping to transition into exclusively breastfeeding him
I have a one week old baby that I can’t get to latch. We had no issues in hospital with him getting a good latch, but due to a severe tongue tie, I had to take a break and just pump because of extreme pain, cracking, etc. we rotated breast milk through bottles and were able to get a couple of successful latches with a nipple shield. We just had his tongue and lip tie released Wednesday and have yet to get him to latch on my breast. We occasionally have success with a nipple shield, but only once or twice a day. Interested in a Medicaid covered provider.
Lactation specialist, I need relief from swollen hard breast only on one side
Having trouble pumping but I need to go back to work
Need lactation advice. Sore nipples, bottle feeding integration, pacifier use, use of nipple shields.
I am currently needing a lactation consultant due to a decrease in my milk supply and I currently have a 3 month old. I am unsure if it is due to wrong flange size or what I may be doing wrong
