We are looking for a postpartum doula who can spend a few hours (approx. 4 hours) with us during the baby’s first week. It would be helpful to consult with someone during this time about newborn care, specifically nursing/pumping and anything else we may be struggling with at that time.

My hopes are to be able to change positions, use birth ball, distractions and possibly hypno birthing techniques to stay as calm and comfortable for everyone during this process. I am ever excited about my first birth and am visualizing a magical experience. We plan to deliver at Collingwood hospital. We live in cookstown, it’s an hour and 25mins away. My in-laws live near by the hospital in Wasaga beach. We have discussed staying with them as it gets closer to go time. Best case scenario is going through early labour in the comfort of a home environment until it’s time to go to the hospital. Hello, We would like to find a daytime (4hr) postpartum doula to help the mom! It's our first pregnancy, and we will have a nanny to take care of the baby. That said, mom is on a planned c-section, and we also want to find a professional doula to take care the mom and also educate us on feeding, cleaning, etc. I don't know what the package pricing is, but the hourly rate shown on the website works for us.
